We are very pleased to announce that The Beard Guy has struck up a partnership trade deal with Beard and Bones company. Beard and Bones do a range of funky and quirky beard products, which we, The Beard Guy, are proud to now be stocking in addition to our regular lines.
Mr January or Captain Commitment? Shaun get’s inked.
Mr January, who some of you may know as Shaun, or the poet, has recently gone above and beyond TBG expectations and has showed the ultimate commitment to both the competition and the brand.
The Beard Guy said Shaun via a message, somewhat in jest, “You won’t get Mr January tattooed on you”. However, with a smile on his bearded face, The Beard Guy was proven wrong.
On Tuesday 14th March, Mr January sent a message to The Beard Guy (Just one day after he sent in a poem), saying “You won’t have Mr January tattooed on you”, along with a picture, a picture displaying the fact that he had and has in fact had Mr January tattooed on him. Not only Mr January, but also The Beard Guy logo.
We at TBG would like to express our thanks to Mr January for his continued support and we would also like to congratulate him on such an epic addition to his collection of ink.
The Beard Guy now trademarked property!!!
Yes, it is official!! The Beard Guy is now a registered trademark. For months, The Beard Guy AKA Caiman has said that he is, to steal a line from his good friend Chesney Hawkes, the one and only, however, up until now others have lurked within the shadows. However, he can now say with conviction in The Beard world, he is the one and only The Beard Guy (at least in the UK).
In December 2022 Caiman decided that the time had come to officially own the rights to the name The Beard Guy, so he took it upon himself to seek out the trade mark. Upon seeking, it was discovered that The Beard Guy trademark was not yet claimed and it was his intention to claim the rights to the name.
After a little bit of a rollercoaster ride with a spot of red tape with the Intellectual Property Office, it was deemed, as of 10/03/2023 that Caiman (The Beard Guy) now owned, and now owns, the rights to the name The Beard Guy.
